Accountant – Part‑time (30‑35h) for Growing Coffee Company

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Accountant to join our fast‑growing coffee business. You will ensure our financial operations run smoothly across multiple locations while supporting strategic planning during a period of rapid expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable for all stores.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and reconciliations.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with German accounting standards (HGB) and tax regulations.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Identify and implement process improvements and support system roll‑outs.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3‑5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, retail or fast‑growing startups.
• Strong knowledge of German bookkeeping, HGB and tax law.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as DATEV or SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Fluent German and proficient English.
• Detail‑oriented, highly organized and able to work independently.
