BESS Project Manager (End-to-End Delivery)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced BESS Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle delivery of Battery Energy Storage System projects, from early feasibility studies through to commissioning and handover. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring compliance with technical and contractual standards.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of project delivery from feasibility to commercial operation date (COD) and handover.
• Define and implement project execution strategy and governance.
• Manage schedule, budget, risk, and overall project performance.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Oversee stakeholders including clients, contractors, suppliers, and grid operators.
• Ensure design and engineering compliance with technical standards and contractual requirements.
• Manage procurement processes, contract administration, variations, and claims.
• Monitor construction progress, quality assurance, and HSE compliance.
• Lead commissioning, testing, and operational readiness activities prior to handover.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Energy, or related field).
• Proven experience delivering large‑scale energy or infrastructure projects end‑to‑end.
• Experience with BESS, renewables, or grid‑connected systems.
• Strong EPC or Owner’s Engineering background.
• Knowledge of project controls (schedule, cost, risk).
• Confident German language skills (spoken and written).
• Willingness to travel and work on‑site regularly.
