Brand & Content Lead

About the role

Destinus is a European defence manufacturer seeking a Brand & Content Lead to shape its public voice. This role bridges marketing and communications, turning technical and industrial updates into compelling stories that resonate across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the content strategy for LinkedIn, X, YouTube, the corporate website and future platforms.
• Write and edit posts, announcements, event materials, product updates, executive messages and campaign copy.
• Translate complex technical topics into clear, credible public communication.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to extract authentic stories from real work.
• Manage the content calendar while maintaining flexibility for timely opportunities.
• Lead communications for major exhibitions, including travel to events and sites for content capture.
• Provide creative direction to designers, video editors, agencies and freelancers.
• Support press activities: draft briefing notes, amplification plans and coordinate with communications leadership.
• Maintain website news, events and selected content pages.
• Coordinate with legal, security and export‑control to ensure compliant publishing.
• Track performance metrics and use data to refine content strategy.

Required profile

• Curious and proactive, able to quickly understand defence products and industry trends.
• Strong storytelling instinct with the ability to find and shape narratives from technical material.
• Comfortable working with engineers, product teams and senior executives.
• Willingness to travel to factories, events and sites for content creation.
• Ability to balance creativity with the disciplined, precise tone required in defence communications.
