Business Development Manager – German Market (Prefab Construction)

About the role

VMG Lignum, a leader in engineered wood products for sustainable construction, is expanding into the German market. We are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager who will drive growth of our prefab construction solutions, build long‑term partnerships, and represent the company at key industry events.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach new clients, partners, and construction projects in Germany.
• Develop and maintain relationships with developers, contractors, architects, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
• Coordinate customer projects with internal engineering, production, and logistics teams.
• Represent VMG Lignum at meetings, trade exhibitions, and industry events.
• Monitor market trends and provide insights for product and business development.

Required profile

• Experience in construction, prefab, or technical B2B product sales.
• Understanding of property development processes and project delivery.
• Proven project‑management experience, including timeline, risk, and budget handling.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Willingness to travel for business.
• Residence in Germany is a strong advantage.
