Business Development Manager – German Market (Prefab Construction)

About the role

VMG Lignum is seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to lead the expansion of its innovative prefab construction solutions in Germany. You will own the market development process, build strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth for a product with strong international potential.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach new clients, partners and construction projects across Germany.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with developers, contractors, architects and other business partners.
• Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate contracts and close deals.
• Coordinate customer projects with internal engineering, production and logistics teams.
• Represent VMG Lignum at customer meetings, industry events and trade exhibitions.
• Monitor market trends and provide insights to support product and business development.

Required profile

• Experience with construction, prefab or technical B2B products.
• Understanding of property development processes and project delivery.
• Proven project‑management experience, including timeline, risk and budget control.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Willingness to travel for business; based in Germany is a strong advantage.
