About the role
Temu is expanding its presence across Europe and seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to lead growth in the German market. This fully remote position will focus on establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships with local merchants, manufacturers, and brands to drive platform adoption.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage partnerships with German sellers and brands, aligning category selection with local consumer demand.
- Advise merchants on market positioning, product planning, and operational strategies to scale on the Temu platform.
- Analyze market trends and category performance to identify growth opportunities and execute data‑driven initiatives.
- Leverage local industry networks to expand Temu’s supplier base in Germany.
Required profile
- Minimum 8 years of experience in e‑commerce, brand management, or platform operations with proven success in the German market.
- Strong existing network of German sellers, vendors, or manufacturers.
- Data‑driven mindset with solid analytical and project‑management capabilities.
- Strategic thinking, problem‑solving ability, and resilience under pressure.
- Native or C2‑level German proficiency and business‑level English; Mandarin is a plus.
