Civil Field Engineer – Concrete Specialist (Freelance)

About the role

We are seeking a Civil Field Engineer with strong concrete expertise to support large‑scale energy infrastructure projects in northern Germany. The position is freelance and operates on a 6‑weeks‑on / 2‑weeks‑off rotation, with Monday‑Saturday work during the on‑site periods.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and execute concrete works including formwork erection, reinforcement placement, and concrete pouring.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on large industrial or EPC sites to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Monitor site safety, quality, and progress, reporting any issues to project management.
• Manage on‑site logistics for concrete materials and equipment.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in civil engineering within large industrial or energy environments.
• Proven background in concrete construction (formwork, rebar, pouring).
• Fluent English; German language skills are a plus.
• Ability to work on a rotating schedule and travel to project sites in northern Germany.
