Construction & Mining Machine Operator & Miner Positions in Germany

About the role

Sperton is recruiting motivated professionals for several long‑term positions in the construction and mining sectors across Germany. The roles include operating large rotary drilling rigs, anchor drilling rigs, and training as miners or mining technicians. Work is performed on construction sites within a 300 km radius of the company headquarters, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor large rotary drilling rigs for cast‑in‑place concrete bored piles.
• Operate and maintain anchor drilling rigs for the production of micropiles and anchors.
• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and technical troubleshooting on drilling equipment.
• Support physical tasks on site, including material handling and assembly.
• Assist in mining machinery operation, dismantling, and transport logistics for career‑changer positions.

Required profile

• Proven experience with large rotary or anchor drilling equipment (or willingness to be trained for mining roles).
• Valid driving licence class B; truck licence is a plus.
• German language at least A2 level or English at least B2 level.
• Physical resilience and ability to work independently on site.
