Customer Maintenance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Maintenance Manager to lead the Maintenance organisation for a key client in Germany. The role is based in Dusseldorf and starts as soon as possible on a one‑year fixed‑term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Maintenance team, establishing processes that align with customer operations and contract requirements.
• Direct all maintenance activities to meet schedules, quality standards, and contractual SLA commitments.
• Coordinate the set‑up of the Maintenance function, including staffing, tools, and office resources.
• Maintain regular communication with the Customer Operations management team and act as the primary escalation point for operational issues.
• Prepare high‑level maintenance plans, monitor KPI and SLA performance, and ensure cost‑base adherence.
• Provide regular reporting on open tickets, root‑cause analyses, and governance reviews.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in Telecoms, Electronics or Computer Science.
• Proven experience leading maintenance or operations teams in a customer‑facing environment.
• Strong understanding of contract deliverables, SLA management and cost control.
• Ability to evaluate team capabilities, drive performance improvements and maintain high morale.
