Data Analyst (Power BI & Python) – Contract, Germany

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join a large‑scale operational environment in Germany. The role is contract‑based, starting June 2026 and running until December 2026, with the majority of work performed remotely and occasional visits to Frankfurt.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex data analyses using Python and SQL.
• Design, build and optimise interactive Power BI dashboards, reports and Dataflows.
• Connect to and analyse data stored in cloud platforms such as AWS S3 and Athena.
• Create semantic data models and KPI definitions using DAX.
• Ensure data quality through validation, monitoring and governance processes.
• Support implementation of security and row‑level security concepts within reporting solutions.

Required profile

• Strong experience in Python‑based data analysis.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with Power BI, DAX and Dataflows.
• Proficiency in SQL and working with cloud‑based data environments (AWS).
• Fluent German language skills.
• Ability to work in an agile (Scrum/SAFe) setting is a plus.
