Director of User Acquisition

About the role

Clue is seeking a commercially driven, data‑obsessed Director of User Acquisition to scale paid growth exponentially. You will own the end‑to‑end acquisition strategy, from channel diversification to creative scaling, measurement, experimentation, and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a 6‑12 month acquisition roadmap, scaling spend across core channels, unlocking Meta, and identifying new networks.
• Identify and launch new scalable channels such as paid social, search ASA, affiliates, and emerging platforms.
• Own acquisition efficiency and growth economics, balancing scale, CAC, payback period, and long‑term LTV.
• Partner with CFO and CMO to forecast, model, and allocate budget quarterly.
• Establish robust attribution and incrementality frameworks and lead structured testing across creative, audiences, landing pages, and bidding strategies.
• Build dashboards and reporting tools to drive rapid optimization.
• Oversee the UA creative team, guiding brand and creative partners to test, iterate, and scale high‑performing concepts.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience scaling user acquisition at a fast‑growing company.
• Self‑motivated strategic thinker with the ability to rapidly scale existing channels while testing new hypotheses.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills, reporting to the CMO and partnering with senior stakeholders.
