District Manager – Construction Equipment

About the role
The District Manager – Construction Equipment will oversee two brands and their dealer networks within an assigned region. You will act as the primary liaison between the company and exclusive dealers, driving growth, market presence, and profitability for the brands.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement network changes, monitor dealer performance, and lead restructuring initiatives when needed.
- Serve as the first point of contact for dealer inquiries on product, sales, and marketing, and represent the brands during customer visits.
- Collaborate with back‑office teams to boost brand awareness through fairs, road shows, advertising, and press activities.
- Ensure consistent market appearance of sales partners, including facilities, service‑fleet branding, online presence, and work‑wear.
- Gather market intelligence on pricing, product trends, customer needs, and competitor distribution networks.
- Plan and execute regional marketing plans with dealers, forecast monthly demand, and communicate changes to the back office.
Required profile
- Proven experience as an area sales manager, district manager or sales manager in construction equipment within an exclusive dealer network.
- Background in managing dealer networks for industrial goods.
- Strong understanding of dealership operations and industrial machinery.
- In‑depth knowledge of the construction equipment market, both generally and regionally.
- Native German speaker with fluent English.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop dealer relationships.
