Early‑Career Application Engineer – Embedded C++

About the role

Apex.AI is seeking an early‑career Application Engineer to join its Munich office. You will work on safety‑certified software that powers next‑generation mobility, robotics and industrial automation. The role offers hands‑on experience with embedded systems, middleware, networking and real‑world deployments while collaborating with senior engineers and global customers.

Key responsibilities

• Support customer deployments and integrations of Apex.OS and related products.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to gather technical requirements.
• Troubleshoot software, middleware, networking and embedded‑system issues.
• Contribute code, bug fixes and enhancements to the Apex.OS codebase.
• Assist with testing, validation and system‑integration activities.
• Participate in customer workshops, demos and technical presentations.
• Help improve tooling, documentation and developer workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field.
• Strong foundation in modern C++ programming.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving skills.
• Interest in embedded systems, robotics, middleware or distributed systems.
• Willingness to work directly with customers and cross‑functional teams.
