European Graduate Development Program – Engineering (Fall 2026)

About the role

The European Graduate Development Program at Tesla Engineering Germany offers a 15‑month, full‑time opportunity for recent graduates to work on cutting‑edge vehicle projects in Berlin. Starting September 2026, participants will rotate across mechanical, electrical and electronics design teams, gaining hands‑on experience in product development.

Key responsibilities

• Work across mechanical, electrical and electronics design domains for Tesla vehicle products.
• Contribute to the full lifecycle of components and systems – design, analysis, prototyping and validation.
• Rotate through specialized design teams (e.g., Powertrain, Vehicle Engineering, Testing) to build cross‑disciplinary expertise.
• Apply first‑principles thinking to create efficient, innovative designs and processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, Mechatronics or a related engineering field.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software; CATIA experience is a plus.
• Experience creating engineering drawings; GD&T knowledge is a plus.
• Demonstrated interest in mechanical design engineering through projects or extracurricular activities.
• Strong grasp of engineering fundamentals and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
