Freelance Research Nurse – Home‑Based Patient Recruitment (Germany)

About the role

James Lind Care is seeking experienced nurses to join its patient recruitment service for clinical trials in Germany. Working from home, you will interview and qualify potential participants, guiding them toward suitable studies and supporting a smooth referral process.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct telephone interviews to assess patients’ health information and eligibility.
• Refer qualified patients to appropriate research sites and coordinate with site staff.
• Collaborate with sponsors’ Clinical Research Associates, project managers, and recruitment specialists.
• Maintain a positive patient journey from initial contact through referral.
• Work closely with the broader James Lind Care research nurse network across Germany and Europe.

Required profile

• Professionally trained nurse (required).
• Experience in clinical research or as a research nurse/CRA is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and a patient‑focused mindset.
• Independent, self‑reliant, and able to manage flexible working hours.
• Intermediate or higher English proficiency and native‑level German.
