Freight Forwarder – Forestry Products (Hamburg)

About the role

We are looking for a Freight Forwarder with a strong affinity for forestry products to join our Hamburg team. You will own the end‑to‑end logistics flow, ensuring shipments move smoothly from booking to final billing while keeping customers informed.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate bookings, transport, and documentation for import and export shipments.
• Handle customs follow‑up and ensure compliance with transport regulations.
• Validate invoices and manage final billing.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers throughout the supply chain.
• Anticipate and resolve operational challenges before they arise.

Required profile

• Experience in freight forwarding, preferably with forestry products or related commodities.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong sense of integrity, positivity, and autonomy.
• Ability to think creatively and speak up with ideas.
• Agile and flexible mindset.

Required skills

• Knowledge of transport regulations and forwarding documentation.
