GL Accountant – General Ledger Specialist

About the role

Join Hach’s European accounting team as a GL Accountant, supporting daily accounting operations and contributing to the month‑end close. You will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting while participating in the rollout of a new Oracle Fusion ERP system.

Key responsibilities

• Own the month‑end close process, delivering timely and accurate financial reports.
• Prepare journal entries, balance‑sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to capture all accounting transactions correctly.
• Maintain complete and accurate supporting documentation for all balance‑sheet accounts.
• Assist internal and external auditors by providing required documentation and support.
• Collaborate with HR and payroll providers to ensure accurate payroll entries.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• High attention to detail and comfort working with numbers.
• Ambitious and motivated to contribute to efficient department operations.

Required skills

• Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP (or similar ERP systems).
