IFRS Group Accountant & Consolidation

About the role

The IFRS Group Accountant & Consolidation role supports the preparation and analysis of Volkswagen Group's financial statements in line with IFRS and German GAAP. You will work closely with over 950 subsidiaries worldwide, ensuring accurate reporting for internal management and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the preparation of separate and consolidated financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Design, optimize, and implement Group‑wide accounting policies and processes.
• Prepare, execute, and monitor consolidation measures across the Group.
• Support and advise domestic and international Group companies on accounting matters.
• Prepare analyses of consolidated financial statements and assist with internal and external reporting, including annual and interim reports for the Board of Management and Supervisory Board.

Required profile

• Completed degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting or a comparable qualification.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting under IFRS and HGB.
• Relevant practical experience in accounting for individual entities (general ledger) and/or preparing consolidated financial statements in SAP.
• German language proficiency at level C1 and English at level B1; additional languages are a plus.
