In-House Business Lawyer (Mid-Level)

About the Position

As an In-House Business Lawyer, you will act as a strategic legal partner, providing high-level expertise across multiple jurisdictions to drive business growth and ensure regulatory excellence.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide autonomous legal counsel on daily operational and project-related legal matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including supplier and customer contracts.
• Deliver specialized legal support regarding Intellectual Property (IP), trademarks, product development, and commercial law.
• Ensure robust compliance in areas of data protection, regulatory requirements, and general corporate affairs.
• Coordinate and oversee external legal counsel to ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal policies, procedures, and comprehensive training programs.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified Lawyer with 3 to 5 years of relevant legal experience.
• Proven track record in an in-house role or within a complex international legal environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a structured approach and a solution-oriented attitude.
• Ability to rapidly adapt to new legal domains and evolving business contexts.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with a collaborative and confident communication style.

Required Skills

• Expertise in Commercial Law and Contract Negotiation.
• Proficiency in Data Protection and Regulatory Compliance.
• Strong understanding of Intellectual Property and Corporate Law.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office and a keen interest in Legal Tech and AI tools.
• Full professional fluency in both German and English (written and spoken).
