Internship Embedded AI Engineering – Remote Possible

About the role

During a 6‑month internship you will help bring state‑of‑the‑art deep‑learning models to resource‑constrained Bosch hardware. You will work remotely from anywhere in Germany or on‑site in Reutlingen, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to turn research into deployable embedded solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and assess feasibility of machine‑learning algorithms for embedded systems.
• Implement, optimise and benchmark deep‑learning models on embedded devices.
• Deploy algorithms to hardware and create an end‑to‑end demo showcasing on‑device inference.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate research advances into practical solutions.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Master’s program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related field.
• Strong interest in artificial intelligence, software and system development, and prototype experimentation.
• Motivated, independent, structured work style combined with good communication and teamwork.
• Very good English proficiency.

Required skills

• Programming in Python.
• Programming in C.
• Knowledge of embedded systems.
• Understanding of machine‑learning / deep‑learning concepts.
