Junior Financial Accountant (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Financial Accountant to support our accounting team. You will help capture and review receipts and invoices while learning how automated booking suggestions are generated and validated.

Key responsibilities

• Capture and review receipts and invoices.
• Review automated booking suggestions and ensure accuracy.
• Assist with monthly closings, VAT pre‑filings and financial reports.
• Collaborate closely with experienced colleagues from accounting and product teams.
• Gain exposure to tools such as DATEV, Odoo, HubSpot and other digital solutions.

Required profile

• Initial accounting experience through training, a student job or a career switch.
• Eagerness to work with digital tools and processes.
• Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn and team spirit.
• German language proficiency at least B2 (C1+ preferred); English is a plus.
• Experience with DATEV or Odoo is beneficial but not mandatory.
