Laboratory Technician IVPT / IVRT

About the role

Conscio's Munich site is expanding rapidly and seeks a Laboratory Technician specialized in in‑vitro permeation testing (IVPT) and in‑vitro release testing (IVRT). The role supports the full drug‑development journey, from early research to GMP‑compliant clinical trial material production.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct permeation studies on artificial membranes, animal skin and human skin.
• Execute and document analytical methods (HPLC, dissolution/release testing, spectroscopy, pharmacopoeial methods) in a GMP‑compliant manner.
• Support analytical scientists in method development and validation for active ingredients, intermediates and finished dosage forms.
• Optimize existing methods, troubleshoot technical issues and perform method validations.
• Create and revise SOPs, equipment instructions, analytical methods and manage deviations, CAPAs and change controls.
• Own equipment maintenance, qualification and related documentation.

Required profile

• Completed vocational training in a laboratory discipline or comparable qualification.
• Initial experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a bioanalytical laboratory; skin permeation experience is a plus.
• High reliability, strong problem‑solving abilities and a structured, self‑directed work style.
• Motivation, flexibility and strong team spirit.
• Proficiency with standard office software (MS Office); experience with Chromeleon is advantageous.
