Legal Counsel

About the role

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Frankfurt team and support a wide range of commercial, corporate and regulatory matters in an international business environment. The role combines legal advisory, contract management and compliance activities while working closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to business stakeholders on commercial and corporate issues.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and other legal documentation.
• Support legal risk assessments and compliance‑related activities.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external legal advisors.
• Contribute to policy development, governance initiatives and process improvements.
• Support strategic and cross‑functional business projects.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to the organisation.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with relevant legal qualifications and professional experience.
• Several years of experience in an in‑house or commercial legal environment.
• Strong understanding of commercial and corporate law topics.
• Experience in international or cross‑border settings (advantageous).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Pragmatic, solution‑oriented working style.
• Fluent in German and English.
