Legal Counsel – Technology & Digital Products

About the role

OneFootball is seeking a Legal Counsel who is passionate about technology, digital products, Web3, gaming, and football. Based in Berlin, you will act as a key legal partner for multiple business lines, helping the company navigate commercial, regulatory, and product‑related legal matters.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on legal and regulatory issues related to OneFootball’s digital services, including Web3 initiatives, token activities, marketplace offerings, gaming products, and merchandising.
• Support compliance with German regulations, including requirements linked to BaFin supervision.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements with partners, advertisers, gaming providers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain customer‑facing legal documentation such as terms of use, marketplace terms, promotional terms, and other consumer policies.
• Provide pragmatic, business‑oriented legal advice to support product development, commercial initiatives, and strategic projects.

Required profile

• Fully qualified lawyer with the Second German State Examination (Zweites Staatsexamen) or an equivalent qualification.
• 1–2 years of post‑qualification experience in a law firm or in‑house setting.
• Strong foundation in commercial, technology, media, digital, or regulatory law.
• Interest in emerging technologies, digital assets, gaming, and digital platforms.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Hands‑on, proactive attitude with the ability to take ownership of a broad range of legal matters.
