Marketing Assistant – Email & Campaign Specialist

About the role

The Marketing Assistant will support the planning, execution, and optimisation of email marketing campaigns using marketing automation platforms and Salesforce. The role ensures accurate, compliant, and on‑brand delivery while contributing to product marketing initiatives and event‑related activities.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, deploy, and optimise email campaigns using approved automation platforms and Salesforce.
• Build and maintain email templates, campaign assets, audience lists, and testing plans in line with brand and compliance standards.
• Monitor campaign performance, maintain key metrics, and report insights to leadership and stakeholders.
• Identify and implement improvements through testing, segmentation, and enhanced measurement.
• Support product launches, portfolio promotion, and development of marketing materials and digital assets.
• Coordinate marketing support for conferences and events, including pre‑ and post‑event communications, lead capture, and reviews.

Required profile

• Degree in marketing, business, communications, or a life‑sciences field (e.g., biology, biomedical science, biotechnology) or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent German (C1/C2) – an absolute must.
• Hands‑on experience with email marketing platforms and CRM systems, ideally Salesforce and Pardot/Marketing Cloud Account Engagement.
• Understanding of campaign execution, audience segmentation, testing, and performance tracking.
• Experience supporting marketing campaigns, events, or conferences is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
