Marketing Manager

About the role

Mastercard is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join its Integrated Marketing & Communications (IMC) team in Germany. The role will plan, execute and measure integrated marketing and sponsorship initiatives that support global and regional priorities across B2C, B2B2C and B2B markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop communication briefs, objectives and performance evaluation for assigned initiatives based on market insights and data.
• Manage end‑to‑end execution of integrated marketing activities across digital and selected non‑digital channels, working with internal teams and agency partners.
• Lead local activations of global and regional sponsorships and partnerships, ensuring market relevance and commercial impact.
• Act as brand steward for initiatives, maintaining consistency with Mastercard’s global brand guidelines.
• Define, track and report on KPIs for owned activities to optimise performance and ensure transparent reporting.
• Leverage new tools, data and technologies, including AI‑enabled solutions, to drive innovation.
• Oversee Mastercard’s owned social media activities for assigned topics in collaboration with Communications and agencies.
• Manage marketing budgets, including planning, tracking, forecasting and compliance with internal processes.
• Collaborate with colleagues across IMC, Product, Sales and external agency partners to deliver integrated outcomes.
• Contribute to annual planning, prioritisation and coordination with senior marketing leadership and regional counterparts.

Required profile

• Several years of hands‑on experience in marketing and communications.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
