Mathematics & AP Computer Science Teacher

About the role

This position involves delivering high‑quality instruction in Mathematics and Advanced Placement (AP) Computer Science to secondary‑level students. The teacher will support both general and advanced learners, fostering research, problem‑solving, and preparation for AP examinations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous mathematics instruction and continuously improve instructional quality.
• Use a variety of differentiated strategies to meet diverse learner needs.
• Collaborate with special‑education staff to address individualized learning plans.
• Provide AP Computer Science instruction, including curriculum delivery and exam preparation.
• Assess student performance, support advanced‑level learning, and prepare students for AP exams.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by school administration.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with proof required.
• Valid, unencumbered state teaching license in the relevant content areas, or equivalent qualifications (Praxis I & II or seven years of Pre‑K‑12 teaching).
• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• At least 40 semester hours of general‑education coursework.
• Completion of Selective Service certification (for male applicants born after 12/31/1959).
• Pass a Tier 1 background investigation with Childcare Checks.
• Willingness to sign transportation and mobility agreements and to be deployed worldwide as needed.
