Mission Operations Training Specialist

About the role

Planet is looking for a Mission Operations Training Specialist to empower internal teams and support Constellation Services customers through onboarding and technical training. Based in Berlin, this full‑time hybrid position works closely with the Education & Enablement and Space Systems teams to deliver standardized training that enables customers to operate and maintain satellite services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and program‑manage training initiatives for Constellation Service customers.
• Own onboarding, ramp‑up, technical product training, and Learning Management System (LMS) maintenance.
• Develop and deliver engaging training content, assessments, and documentation.
• Serve as the primary training and enablement contact for the Space Business Team.
• Maintain and optimise training assets and systems for accuracy and efficiency.
• Identify training needs through data analysis and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Monitor program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Experience designing and delivering technical training programs.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams, especially Space Systems.
• Strong analytical skills to identify training gaps and measure impact.
• Excellent communication skills for both internal and external audiences.
