People Partner Specialist – 12‑month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

Delivery Hero is looking for a Specialist, People Partner on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to join its People & Culture team. You will act as the first point of contact for people managers, providing guidance on policies, employee life‑cycle processes and German labour law, helping to create a supportive and high‑performing work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and advise managers and employees on day‑to‑day HR operations, compliance cases and labour‑law issues.
• Analyse HR data and trends, partnering with People Business Partners to inform business strategy and prevent recurring issues.
• Support talent‑management and pay‑review cycles, ensuring managers understand and apply relevant policies.
• Guide managers on Workday processes, system changes and related HRIS tasks.
• Collaborate with Hero Support and People Business Partner teams on change‑management initiatives and cross‑functional projects.

Required profile

• Approximately 2+ years of experience in People Operations, Junior HR Business Partner or a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of German labour law.
• Strong business acumen and a bias toward action.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

• Workday or similar HRIS tools.
