Product Designer (Fixed‑term Maternity Cover)

About the role

Mondu, a fast‑growing B2B payments provider, is looking for a Product Designer to join its team on a fixed‑term maternity cover contract (01‑07‑2026 to 01‑09‑2027). You will own the design journey for data‑intensive financial products, turning complex regulatory requirements into simple, trustworthy user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design for specific product domains, from discovery and research to high‑fidelity prototypes and developer handoff.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, performing Design QA to ensure shipped features match designs.
• Analyse A/B test results, usage data and session recordings (PostHog, Metabase) to iterate on live features.
• Support marketing by creating digital visuals and maintaining brand consistency.
• Maintain and evolve the shared component library in Figma, ensuring a cohesive visual language.
• Champion accessibility by adhering to WCAG and European Accessibility Act standards.
• Identify opportunities to integrate AI tools into the design workflow.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional product design experience, preferably in FinTech, B2B SaaS or other regulated industries.
• Proven ability to simplify complex financial workflows into clear, actionable interfaces.
• Strong data‑driven mindset and comfort presenting design decisions to cross‑functional stakeholders.
