Production Control & Logistics Coordinator

About the role

FERCHAU is seeking a Production Control & Logistics (PC&L) Improvement Coordinator to lead continuous‑improvement projects in an industrial, preferably automotive, environment. You will optimise internal supply‑chain processes, boost planning reliability and enhance overall operational efficiency and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse current PC&L processes and identify inefficiencies in production planning and logistics flows.
• Implement improvement actions such as inventory reduction, flow optimisation and service‑level enhancements.
• Coordinate internal supply‑chain improvement projects and ensure compliance with logistics standards.
• Monitor PC&L performance using KPIs (OTIF, inventory turnover, stock coverage, logistics lead time and costs, production plan adherence).
• Define and execute corrective‑action plans to improve MPS/MRP reliability and material management.
• Optimise line feeding, warehouse and internal logistics flows, collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Drive Lean initiatives, applying tools like Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, Milk Run and Supermarket systems.
• Lead Kaizen workshops, problem‑solving sessions and support internal audits.

Required profile

• Experience in an industrial environment, preferably within the automotive sector.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Germany (or Europe) with occasional remote weeks.

Required skills

• Lean manufacturing and Kaizen methodologies.
• Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
• Kanban, Milk Run and Supermarket logistics systems.
• MPS/MRP planning and inventory management.
• KPI analysis and performance tracking (OTIF, inventory turnover, etc.).
