About the role

The Technische Universität Braunschweig seeks a distinguished scholar to lead its High Frequency Technology group. The professor will develop cutting‑edge research and teaching programs in high‑frequency systems, optoelectronics, and photonics, supporting the university’s strategic goals in digitalisation, internationalisation, and knowledge exchange.

Key responsibilities

• Lead research projects in high‑frequency technology, including RF, THz, SAW/BAW/MEMS, and chiplet integration.
• Develop and deliver German‑language courses and supervise graduate students.
• Secure external funding and foster international collaborations.
• Contribute to university governance, digital transformation, and diversity initiatives.

Required profile

• Internationally recognised researcher with a strong publication record in high‑frequency technology or related fields.
• Proven ability to obtain external research funding.
