Receptionist / Customer Service (Berlin)

About the role

Axel Hotels is seeking a friendly and proactive Receptionist to join its Berlin location. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences while supporting the hotel’s operational standards and promoting upselling opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform efficient check‑in and check‑out procedures for all guests.
• Manage reservations and coordinate front‑desk activities using the hotel’s booking system.
• Provide high‑quality customer service, addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Handle shift management and ensure smooth handovers between teams.
• Promote upselling and cross‑selling of hotel services and other Axel Hotel properties.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience as a receptionist in a comparable hotel environment.
• Fluent in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong communication, empathy, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Professional appearance, punctuality, and respect for guest confidentiality.

Required skills

• Experience with the Tesipro or Ulyses Cloud reservation system.
