Senior Application Engineer

About the role

Apex.AI is looking for a Senior Application Engineer to join its Munich team. You will work directly with global customers and internal product groups to design, build, deploy, and support advanced software solutions based on the Apex.OS platform.

Key responsibilities

• Roll out Apex.AI software to customers and provide technical support.
• Collaborate with customers to capture technical requirements and deliver high‑quality implementations.
• Deploy, integrate, and maintain Apex.AI solutions in customer environments.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across software, networking, middleware, and embedded systems.
• Partner with internal engineering teams to improve product capabilities, usability, and performance.
• Contribute new features, bug fixes, and enhancements directly to Apex.OS.
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and training sessions for customers.
• Accelerate customer adoption across automotive and intelligent‑machine platforms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience using modern C++.
• Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills in complex software systems.
• Experience developing software for embedded or distributed systems.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency with modern development workflows (Git, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, issue tracking).
• Self‑driven and comfortable working independently in a fast‑moving technical environment.
