Senior Engineer – Vehicle Drive Quality & Performance

About the role

We are looking for a (Senior) Engineer to develop vehicle drive quality and performance for the European market, supporting both local and global vehicle development.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement EU‑specific vehicle drive quality and performance targets.
• Develop and optimise vehicle drive quality to meet European customer requirements.
• Conduct detailed benchmarks of competing models and brands in Europe.
• Collaborate closely with R&D centres in Wuhu and Shanghai, as well as European subsidiaries (Marketing, Sales, Quality).

Required profile

• Degree in Vehicle Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering or a comparable field.
• More than 3 years of experience in vehicle drive quality and performance (BEV, PHEV, ICE).
• Ability to balance vehicle and system targets for regulatory compliance and customer acceptance.
• Willingness to travel and a valid European driving licence.
• Fluent English; Mandarin skills are a plus.
• Pro‑active, self‑motivated attitude and strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of PT test.
• Experience with application and simulation tools.
• Proficiency in MS Office and presentation software.
