Senior Project Lead – Energy & Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Lead to drive complex energy and infrastructure projects for a growing organisation in the Hamburg region. The role covers the full delivery lifecycle from early‑stage development through construction completion, working in a hybrid on‑site/off‑site environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects through all phases, from scoping to final delivery.
• Establish and coordinate project teams and governance structures.
• Interface with engineering, procurement and construction stakeholders.
• Oversee execution strategy, contractor performance and delivery milestones.
• Maintain alignment on quality, cost and schedule objectives.
• Support delivery of single large projects or multiple concurrent workstreams.

Required profile

• 10+ years delivering complex infrastructure or energy‑related projects.
• Strong background in engineering‑led environments, particularly renewables or power generation.
• Experience managing investment projects, technical packages and CAPEX/OPEX budgets.
• Exposure to commercial activities such as supplier engagement, contract negotiation and cost tracking.
• Proven ability to work across multi‑disciplinary, international teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages a plus.
• Willingness to remain hands‑on across office, client interface and construction sites.
