Software Development Engineer

About the role

You will join a software development team to contribute to the Stream Deck desktop application, designing and implementing high‑quality software for Windows and macOS platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop desktop software using C++ and the Qt framework.
• Design and implement software architecture and user interfaces for Windows and macOS.
• Collaborate with product managers to define requirements and scope.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, high‑performance software.
• Create and maintain automated tests to ensure reliability and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Optimize performance and improve user experience.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest desktop development trends and technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Informatics or a comparable field.
• At least three years of experience developing desktop software for Windows and/or macOS in C++.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• C++ programming language.
• Qt application framework (including QML, considered an advantage).
• Development tools such as Visual Studio, Qt Creator, Git, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Windows and macOS development environments.
