Software Engineer – AI Voice Automation

About the role

Join a fast‑moving, Y Combinator‑backed startup that powers thousands of AI‑driven phone calls each day. As a Software Engineer you will own projects from concept to production, work directly with customers, and help shape the core architecture of an AI‑first communications platform.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to understand their problems and design effective product experiences.
• Build and maintain scalable backend infrastructure capable of handling thousands of parallel AI phone calls daily.
• Create intuitive, AI‑first user interfaces using modern web technologies.
• Lead high‑stakes projects end‑to‑end, from architecture through deployment and post‑release support.
• Contribute to core architectural decisions that guide product direction.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and designing scalable backend systems.
• Hands‑on expertise in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Python.
• Proven ability to take a product from 0 to 1 and make architectural decisions.
• Excellent collaboration skills to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
