Supply Chain Director – Demand & Supply Planning

About the role

In this position based at our Sevenum office and warehouse near Venlo, you will lead demand and supply planning across multiple warehouses and sales channels, ensuring products are available at the right time and place.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end demand and supply planning, delivering accurate forecasts and optimal inventory levels.
• Minimise out‑of‑stock risks, improve stock rotation and manage forced purchases.
• Implement and continuously improve data‑driven forecasting and planning processes.
• Manage supplier relationships to secure continuity and mitigate risks.
• Lead a team of 5 direct and ~35 indirect reports, fostering capability building and high performance.
• Coordinate with Commercial Operations, Category Management, Procurement, Logistics and Pharma Operations to align demand, supply and warehouse capacity.
• Engage senior leadership on planning strategies, performance targets and business priorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 + years experience in demand planning, supply planning, forecasting or inventory management.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret planning, inventory and supply data.
• Proven track record of improving forecast accuracy and inventory performance.
• Experience leading teams and driving cross‑functional collaboration.
