Teacher of IBDP/IBMYP Individuals and Societies (Psychology)

About the role

BBIS is seeking an energetic, internationally‑mindset teacher to deliver IBDP and IBMYP Individuals & Societies with a focus on Psychology. You will inspire students from grade 6 to 12 to become critical, creative, and globally aware thinkers in a supportive, tech‑rich environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach IBDP/IBMYP Individuals & Societies, creating a safe and stimulating classroom.
• Design and deliver inquiry‑based, concept‑driven curriculum units.
• Promote inclusion by valuing cultural diversity and ensuring representation for all students.
• Motivate students to engage actively with human societies and environments.
• Support student well‑being and academic growth across varied motivations and abilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines and contribute to the school community.
• Optionally support Theory of Knowledge, Personal Project, Extended Essay, and CAS components.

Required profile

• Teaching certification, preferably with a Master’s degree in Psychology or a related field.
• Experience teaching the IBDP/IBMYP programme or comparable curricula (AP, A‑Level, IGCSE); international school experience is a plus.
• Outstanding written and spoken English communication skills.
• Innovative, resilient, flexible team player with a growth mindset.

• Competitive salary (€55,059‑€61,885 gross/year) with annual CPI‑based adjustments.
• Full‑time, fixed‑term contract (30 teaching units/40 hours per week) initially until 31 July 2028.
