Technical Presales Consultant – Software Solutions (Electrical Planning)

About the role
We are looking for a Technical Presales Consultant to promote ETAP software solutions for electrical planning, medium‑ and low‑voltage systems. You will work closely with sales, product management and engineering teams to demonstrate how our tools support design, operation and maintenance of buildings, data centers, industrial plants and power networks.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, deliver and follow up on live software demos and presentations for prospective customers.
- Analyse customer requirements and recommend appropriate ETAP products such as Power Simulator, SCADA, Microgrid or Caneco.
- Maintain sales activities in the CRM system (Salesforce) and ensure accurate documentation.
- Collaborate daily with sales colleagues, product managers and technical experts to align solutions with market needs.
- Participate in onboarding and continuous learning programs to deepen product knowledge.
Required profile
- Strong interest in electrical planning, energy management and renewable energy.
- Familiarity with medium‑ and low‑voltage installations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts for customers.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model – onsite at Viernheim or Mönchengladbach, or remotely.
