About the role

The Career and Technical Center at Phillips Community College seeks a dedicated Welding Instructor to teach and develop welding courses for its students. This full‑time, on‑site position involves curriculum design, classroom instruction, and ensuring a safe learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach, develop, and update welding and related technical courses.
• Instruct students on health, safety, and environmental compliance regulations.
• Prepare students for NCCER certification exams and support their successful completion.
• Assist with program recruiting and outreach activities.

Required profile

• Associate of Applied Science degree in welding or a related field.
• Teaching experience or relevant work experience preferred.
• Experience with welding or HVAC is desired.
• Master Welding Certification is a plus.
