Architected a modular Django monolith serving over 1,000 users, chefs and riders, coordinating state with Celery workers and PostgreSQL. Engineered a provider‑agnostic payment engine integrating Paystack, Flutterwave and TGI Pay, adding circuit‑breaker logic and idempotent webhook processing that reduced transaction failures by 25%. Designed an immutable double‑entry ledger with a three‑balance wallet model and automated settlement engine for escrowed funds. Owned production infrastructure on AWS and DigitalOcean, deploying containerized services via Docker Compose with zero‑downtime blue‑green deployments using Nginx. Implemented optimistic locking and Redis/Valkey caching, cutting DB load by 40% and achieving sub‑50 ms response times. Built real‑time order tracking and messaging using Django Channels.
