Assembly/Repair & Test Bench Technician

About the role

Join NAXCON GmbH as an Assembly/Repair Technician and Test Bench Technician in Bremen. You will work on mechanical and electrical sub‑assemblies for defence‑related projects, ensuring devices are built, tested and delivered to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical sub‑assemblies according to drawings, bills of materials and work instructions.
• Commission and test devices at system level, performing interface tests and functional assessments.
• Produce test cables and modify PCBs following changeover and assembly documentation.
• Document production orders, test results and repair actions in SAP.
• Troubleshoot electronic assemblies using circuit and signal diagrams, and carry out repairs or upgrades.

Required profile

• Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience assembling electronic sub‑assemblies.
• Good knowledge of German and basic English.
• Proven ability to work precisely, follow procedures and collaborate in a team.

Required skills

• SMD and THT soldering techniques.
• PCB modification according to technical drawings.
• Use of test equipment (electrical, mechanical, optical) for functional testing and fault analysis.
• Proficiency with SAP and MS Office.
• Interpretation of circuit diagrams and signal schematics.
