C++ Developer – Berlin or Remote

About the role

We are looking for a C++ Developer to join think‑cell’s engineering team, based in Berlin or working remotely. You will tackle challenging algorithmic problems and contribute to a market‑leading productivity software used by millions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise modern C++ components for both Windows and macOS.
• Collaborate with international colleagues while avoiding unnecessary meetings.
• Ship features when they meet your quality standards, without artificial time pressure.
• Contribute to low‑level code, including assembler modules and build scripts.
• Participate in code reviews and help shape the codebase’s architecture.

Required profile

• Strong C++ programming skills acquired through education or professional experience.
• Academic background in Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics.
• Passion for elegant, efficient algorithms and independent problem solving.
• Fluent English communication; German is not required.

Required skills

• Modern C++ (C++14/17/20) and familiarity with compiler toolchains (Visual C++, Xcode).
• Boost libraries, especially Boost.Spirit for parsing.
• Python for build‑script automation.
• Assembler for low‑level tasks.
