Director Asset Backed Financing

About the role

Sereact is scaling its robotics deployments and needs a finance leader to build an asset‑backed financing (ABF) program from the ground up. Based in Stuttgart, you will design the SPV, raise debt, and run the vehicle long‑term, working directly with the Board, Tier 1 investors and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Design and set up the ABF program, define asset classes, jurisdiction, tax and accounting treatment, and incorporate the SPV(s).
• Own end‑to‑end debt fundraising: build lender universe, prepare data rooms, negotiate term sheets and close transactions.
• Develop cash‑flow models, waterfalls and capital‑structure analyses; define advance rates, covenants and reserve mechanics.
• Operate the SPV: borrowing‑base calculations, lender reporting, compliance, data quality and manage amendments, waivers and refinancings.
• Partner with the CEO, CFO and commercial leaders to align financing with Robotics‑as‑a‑Service, leasing and customer‑financing models, and brief the Board and equity investors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or Finance.
• 5+ years of experience in structured finance, securitisation, asset‑based lending or private credit, with a proven track record of taking an asset‑backed structure from concept to close.
• Experience financing hardware, equipment or recurring‑revenue contracts is a strong plus.
