EU Litigation Counsel – Berlin or Munich

About the role

As an EU Litigation Counsel you will manage business‑critical disputes before national and EU courts, tribunals, and regulatory bodies. You will work independently on highly complex litigation and regulatory challenges across Amazon’s diverse range of products and services, collaborating closely with business leaders and local legal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive Amazon’s most critical private litigation matters across Europe in national and EU courts.
• Advise business and legal colleagues on concurrent litigation and related regulatory challenges in multiple member states.
• Shape the company’s long‑term strategy on high‑impact and novel legal issues.
• Coordinate cross‑border disputes and manage senior international outside‑counsel teams.
• Provide strategic guidance to senior business and legal leadership in the EU and US.

Required profile

• Significant experience in complex domestic and international business litigation, including trial experience.
• Proven ability to counsel parties on strategic matters and develop long‑term dispute resolution strategies.
• Strong analytical skills to anticipate emerging legal trends and assess practical risks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for translating complex legal issues into clear guidance.
