Head of Video Content

About the role

The Head of Video Content will lead the creation and delivery of marketing‑focused video assets for a Germany‑based company. Working remotely, you will shape visual storytelling that strengthens brand presence, supports campaigns and drives audience engagement across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Create and edit high‑quality video content for social media, websites, advertising campaigns and internal communications.
• Translate marketing strategies and brand messaging into engaging visual stories.
• Develop concepts, motion‑graphics and creative direction to maximise audience impact.
• Manage production workflows, including file organization, version control and archiving.
• Adapt video assets for platforms such as YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram and paid advertising channels.
• Collaborate with marketing, design and content teams from concept through execution.
• Incorporate stakeholder feedback, oversee revision cycles and ensure timely delivery.
• Stay current with video‑marketing trends, emerging tools and platform best practices.
• Maintain brand consistency across all video output and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in video editing, content production or a similar creative role, preferably in a marketing environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating marketing‑driven videos and branded content.
• Understanding of how video supports lead generation, brand awareness, customer engagement and conversion goals.
• Experience producing short‑form and long‑form videos for multiple formats and channels.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Proficiency with Adobe After Effects.
• Proficiency with Final Cut Pro or comparable editing platforms.
