Health & Safety Engineer – Europe

About the role

The Health & Safety Engineer Europe will drive security across OVHcloud’s European datacenter sites, reduce accidents and strengthen the safety culture within the group. Working within the Operational Excellence team, you will support rapid growth by defining efficient, agile processes that meet customer and regulatory needs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse accidents, incidents, near‑misses and risk situations; manage risk and incident processes.
• Support new industrial datacenter sites with security policies, culture and design requirements.
• Define and implement HSE awareness‑raising and training actions at Group level.
• Develop the HSE Europe roadmap, risk mapping and action plans for occupational and psychosocial risks.
• Define, monitor and report HSE and security KPIs to committees, senior management and operational teams.
• Create and conduct HSE audit plans for the Europe zone, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
• Formalise HSE processes, procedures and documentation; support regional and operational departments in Hygiene & Safety.
• Collaborate with compliance and industrial‑risk teams to follow and close corrective actions.

Required profile

• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and European occupational health & safety standards.
• Autonomous, able to work in a fast‑paced, challenging environment.
• Comfortable operating in an international context across multiple European countries.
• Technical diploma (e.g., mechanical, electronic or related field).
• Strong service orientation with a focus on positive impact.
