Junior Operations Associate – Customer Support (Insurance)

About the role

Join Feather’s Operations team as a Junior Operations Associate, helping customers navigate insurance options through chat and video calls. You will receive training from experienced teammates and gradually take ownership of customer interactions while using our messaging platform.

Key responsibilities

• Answer customer queries via Intercom chat, email and Google Meet video calls following clear guidelines.
• Perform manual tasks such as policy purchases, cancellations, and claims submissions according to documented procedures.
• Flag unclear or unusual cases to senior teammates promptly.
• Respond to standard requests within one working day and urgent requests within one hour during working hours.
• Support the team with data‑entry and administrative duties.

Required profile

• Careful and detail‑oriented when completing repetitive tasks.
• Comfortable following established processes and instructions.
• Strong customer‑service instincts and good interpersonal communication.
• Fluent in Business English; German or Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in customer support or insurance is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Personal experience as an expat is a plus.
